Poker Hand Rankings

Now that the cards have been dealt, which is the winning hand? Does a straight beat a flush? Does a flush beat four of a kind? Make reference to the poker hand rankings chart below, till you learn which hands beat which. There is nothing worse than raising your hands in victory, only to find out the hand you thought was unbeatable, was beaten.

Poker Hand Ranking Table
H = Heart	D = Diamond		S= Spade	C = Club

Royal Flush
Ace H	King H	Queen H	Jack H	Ten H
The Royal Flush is the best possible hand you can have in poker. If you are blessed with this hand, try to get as much money out of your opponents as you can.

Straight Flush
Eight S	Seven S	Six S	Five S	Four S
A Straight Flush is five cards in consecutive order, that are comprised of the same suit. If, in chance, there are two straight flushes, then the straight with the highest ranked card would win the hand.

Four-of-a-Kind
Six D	Six H	Six C	Six S	King S
The Four-of-a-Kind is four cards of the same rank, and any other card.

Full House
Ten S	Ten H	King H	King D	King S
The full house consists of three of a kind, and a pair. If two players have a full house, then the winning hand goes to the high rank three of a kind.

Flush
King S	Ten S	Six S	Five S	Three S
A Flush is when you have five cards of the same suit. If there are more than one flush, then the winning hand will go to the highest ranked card.
